On Monday, June 17, 2024, members of the APSIM consortium from the I-SENSE research group of ICCS, GEOANALYSIS S.A. and COMIC visited the Epigraphic Museum of Athens to present and test in practice the VR and AR applications of the project.
During the testing process, both the functionality of the application in the physical space and the exact placement of the digital models were examined. The tests were successful and the consortium discussed minor improvements through specially designed questionnaires.
The AR and VR applications aim to upgrade the visit experience at Greek Archaeological Sites and museums and attract and educate younger generations to our Cultural Heritage.
